Filo direct-coupled twin compressors use screws without a gearbox, specifically designed to meet user needs. Direct drive systems consist of a screw compressor in which the motor is connected directly to the screw unit.
Direct-coupled screw compressors provide significant energy savings while delivering superior performance. By transferring motion and power through a single coupling instead of a belt-pulley system, energy loss due to friction is minimized.
Our air compressors use high-efficiency screws with a low-speed design. This allows for maximum airflow and optimal efficiency at reduced rotational speeds. The motor-screw system uses Omega-type couplings, which reduce noise levels and save assembly time.
All critical components—including the suction valve, separator, thermostatic valve, and other valves—are designed by the Filo R&D department, rigorously tested, and then delivered to the assembly section.
The thermostatic valves prevent condensation of water from mixing with oil in the screw block at certain temperatures, thereby extending the oil’s service life. The compressor operates smoothly under all weather conditions.
